Jobber for Money & Job Costing

Everything on the other deep-dive pages is about getting the job booked, scheduled, and done right. This page is about what happens after: getting paid without chasing it, and knowing whether the job that just closed actually made money — see our general guide to job costing if that distinction (paid vs. profitable) is new territory.

Invoicing & Payment Processing

Digital invoices with automated reminders and batch processing, plus online payments, recurring billing, and instant payouts. The automated-reminder piece matters more than it sounds — a lot of slow-pay isn't a customer refusing to pay, it's an invoice that quietly fell off everyone's radar until someone in the office happened to notice.

Financial Management & QuickBooks Sync

Financial reporting, expense tracking, and QuickBooks/Xero sync, available from the Connect tier up. This closes the same office-side gap we've flagged on other tool reviews: someone manually re-entering invoices because the field tool and the accounting system don't talk to each other. That's real time recovered, not a nice-to-have.

Job Costing

Automatically nets a job's revenue against the material and labor cost already logged against it (available from the Grow tier up) — the software answer to "did this specific job actually make money," not just "did the invoice get paid." Same caveat as any job-costing feature anywhere: it's only as accurate as the labor hours and materials actually entered per job. If techs aren't logging time against the right job, the number it produces will still look clean — it just won't be true.

Business Dashboard

A workflow overview showing job status, appointment progress, and payment status in one view, plus recommended next actions. Useful as a daily at-a-glance check — not a replacement for the deeper job-costing reports when you actually need to know which job types are profitable and which aren't.
