Pros
- Custom forms and checklists go directly at the inconsistent-note-taking problem in the most structural way on this list — instead of a generic notes field or even a fixed job form, you build your own checklist per job type, so a refrigerant swap and a full system install force different, relevant documentation instead of one generic form stretched to fit everything.
- Offline mobile mode matters in the field — cell signal in mechanical rooms and basements is often bad, and a tool that can't log a job offline just reintroduces the inconsistent-notes problem in exactly the spots where it matters most.
Cons
- Priced and built for larger crews — the per-user cost adds up fast for a small team, and the customization itself takes real setup time before any consistency payoff shows up.
- Haven't personally run this — the checklist builder's actual usability during setup is worth confirming before committing the time to build it out.
The most powerful documentation-consistency tool on this list if a shop is large enough to justify it and willing to invest the setup time — not a fit for a solo operator wanting something that works out of the box.
