  • Audit-ready recordkeeping

From the field

Evaluated from HVAC industry experience — not personally run day-to-day

Pros

  • This is a narrower, more specific version of the recordkeeping problem — not general job notes, but the specific EPA-mandated refrigerant tracking that most all-purpose dispatch tools don't handle well, if at all.
  • Audit-ready recordkeeping matters here in a way general notes don't: it's the difference between passing an EPA inspection and facing real penalties, not just having organized customer history.

Cons

  • Single-purpose — it doesn't replace a dispatch/scheduling/estimating tool, so it's an addition to the stack, not a replacement. That's another subscription and another system to keep current.
  • Haven't personally run this day-to-day — worth confirming how much manual data entry it actually saves versus a well-organized spreadsheet before paying for it.

Worth it specifically for the compliance exposure, not as a general recordkeeping fix. If the inconsistent-notes problem was really about day-to-day job documentation rather than refrigerant/EPA tracking specifically, a field-service tool's built-in notes feature is the more relevant fix, not this.
